Terms of Service

Last updated 25 August 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and Painterner Limited.LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in Hong Kong at RM.1801 Easey Comm. Bldg., 253-261 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, covering your use of Disidea at disidea.dev (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. What the Service does

Disidea sends your questions to several third-party AI models, shows you their answers in one thread, and lets those models read and edit files in a project attached to that thread. It can bundle and run some of that code in a sandboxed preview.

The models are operated by third parties, not by us. We route requests to them through our own gateway and pass their answers back to you.

2. Your account

You need an account, created with an email address or a Google sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

One person or organisation may hold one free account. Creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated free allowances is a breach of these terms, and we rate-limit account creation to enforce it.

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

3. Credits, plans and payment

A credit is a unit of cost: one credit is USD 0.01 of model usage. When a model answers, we bill the actual cost the provider reports for that call, converted into credits. We do not charge a flat amount per message, because the real cost of one message varies by more than a hundredfold depending on how many models answer and how much work they do.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of credits, which resets at the start of each billing period and does not carry over. The free plan is additionally capped at a fixed number of messages per month.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Plans renew monthly until cancelled.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full access until then, and cancelling deletes nothing: your threads remain readable and exportable for as long as your account exists, and project files are kept for at least six months after the plan ends. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused allowance, except where required by law or where the Service failed materially and we agree a refund is due.

Changing plans mid-period is prorated by Stripe: the unused part of your current plan is credited and the difference charged.

We may change prices or allowances. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change applies to an existing subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

4. Support

We answer support at support@disidea.dev. Pro and Max plans receive a response within 24 hours on business days. Other plans are answered on a best-effort basis. A response within 24 hours means a reply from a person, not necessarily a resolution.

5. Your content

You keep all rights in what you put into the Service — your questions, your files, the personal context you supply — and in the model output you receive, to the extent such output is capable of being owned.

You grant us a limited licence to store, transmit and process that content solely to operate the Service for you: to display it back to you, to send it to model providers so they can answer, and to keep backups. That licence ends when you delete the content.

We do not use your content to train models. We do not sell it. Whether a model provider retains or trains on data sent to it is governed by that provider's own terms; see the Privacy Policy for who they are.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and we will tell you why unless doing so is itself unlawful.

7. AI output — read this one

Model output is frequently wrong, and confidently so. It may be inaccurate, outdated, biased, or entirely invented, including citations and quotations. Several models agreeing is evidence, not proof — they share training data and share mistakes.

You are responsible for checking anything you rely on. Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or safety advice. We provide the output "as is" and make no warranty about its accuracy or fitness for any purpose.

8. Generated code and the preview

Code written by a model is your responsibility to review before you run it anywhere that matters. The preview sandbox is isolated — a separate origin, no cookies, no access to your session, and a restrictive content policy — but it is a convenience for seeing something run, not a security review of what it does.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We depend on third parties — Cloudflare, Stripe, and the model providers — and an outage at any of them can take features down with it. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice and let you export your threads first.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your threads, projects and personal context; see the Privacy Policy for what is retained and for how long.

We may terminate for a material breach of these terms, or for non-payment after notice.

11. Liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that: the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from your reliance on model output. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period, or USD 100.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
